Zether provides a collection of authenticated and verifiable cryptocurrency price feeds, offering customization options for connected applications.
For the native application Liquid Vaults, Zether's data feeds empower and streamline the collateralization of yield-bearing assets.
To guarantee the provision of secure and dependable price feeds, Zether employs a decentralized network of Transmitters, collecting data from various sources such as APIs, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and centralized exchanges (CEXs). Zether employs a variety of algorithms, including median, time-weighted average price (TWAP), and volume-weighted average price (VWAP), to calculate and disseminate the data on the Zether Network before broadcasting it.
The illustration below depicts Transmitter Agents collecting and relaying price data from various sources to the Price Oracle Contract on the Zether Network. The Price Oracle Contract monitors for significant discrepancies and statistical anomalies, aiming to generate a median price. Once a notable deviation is detected, the price is broadcasted to other blockchains.
