Observers, categorized as Agents, play a crucial role in bolstering the security and operational continuity of Zether by monitoring the performance of Transmitters for any irregularities. Comprising all approved Transmitters, Observers assess the outcomes of Transmitters individually deployed by Distributors. These results undergo processing on the Controller, determining the allocation of rewards or the imposition of penalties, which are denoted in $ZETHER Tokens.
The diagram illustrates a process with five primary steps involving Observers:
Consensus is reached among Transmitters regarding aggregated data.
The Conductor transmits the data to the Circuit.
Following verification, the operation is either deemed successful or aborted.
Observers retrieve data regarding the successful operation.
Observers provide reports on Transmitters involved in the operation.
The Controller administers rewards or penalties to Transmitters.
