Components

Zether comprises multiple smart contracts backed by a distributed network of messengers known as Agents. The Controller, located within the Zether Network, acts as the central communication hub, verifying and coordinating interactions among Agents and other smart contracts, referred to as Circuits.

Security

Zether implements Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) alongside approved Agents (KYC) to achieve consensus on data and operations. The Controller and Circuits utilize cryptographic primitives of ECDSA to ensure the authenticity of signatures and prevent data tampering.

Customization

Zether's modular design allows Builders to customize security parameters, leveraging the available set of approved Agents. Builders have the freedom to select preferred consensus rates and Agents participating in consensus. They can choose any number of Agents, including the option to incorporate their own custom Agents.
